Writing for this round: Rita and Raven met five years ago, under very odd circumstances - Raven used Rita and her traveling partners to create a distraction in order for him to slip past some guards and into a mansion. They crossed paths a few more times, and eventually Raven ended up sticking with the group for good. The two had clashing personalities and argued a lot, but they came to care about each other a great deal; of course, it's hard not to care about people you save the world with. It took a few years, but eventually the two realized that they had fallen in love, despite the age difference.
Their wedding was small - just their close friends (neither had any family). Their friend Yuri walked Rita down the isle, and was also the best man. The ceremony was short but memorable, and afterwards everyone got to see Raven showcase the dancing skills he had learned during his time in the military.
(Yeah, I pulled these characters from a video game, so their backstory is kinda weird.)
