I love Cate, on its own or as a nn for Caitlin (I even toyed around with the spelling Catelyn but it didn't go over well), Catherine, etc.
I also like the nn Kitty, but prefer just plain Kit. It gives off less of the stripper-ish-ness, at least in my opinion, while still being just as cute!
