I love the name
Zora, and I won't deny that it's mostly because I think of a graceful, water-dwelling people who remind me much of dolphins.
I'd actually consider using it if it weren't for the fact that
Zelda is my absolute favorite name. Two Z names is pushing it; two names connected by the same video game is rather ridiculous, even for me.
Apart from the Legend of
Zelda connection, though, there's also
Zora Neale Hurston. So it has literary significance, too, and all of this combines to make a very strong, yet graceful, name.
