Help[Games] Congrats Jane Austen Style - Sign-up/Round 1
Jane Austen is my favorite author so I thought we'd try a Jane Austen style congrats game with names and titles from the Regency time period and from a series of mystery books I'm currently reading where Jane Austen is a detective.
There will be only three or four rounds but you'll start out with a family and progress in the other two rounds with spouses and then grandchildren. If you'd like to play please complete all parts below and fill out the form. If you have any questions (especially about titles) please feel free to ask or refer to my example family. Have fun! :)
For the first part you will need to use a six sided dice like this one (http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks1/maths/dice/).
First roll the dice to determine what career/position your family holds:
1= Viscount (titles: parents Lord & Lady estate name, kids Mr. or Miss LN)
2= Earl (titles: parent Lord & Lady estate name, kids Lord or Lady LN)
3= Colonel in the Army (titles: parents Colonel & Mrs. LN, kids Miss or Mr. LN)
4= Admiral in the Navy (titles: parents Admiral & Mrs. LN, kids Miss or Mr. LN)
5= Clergyman (titles: parents Reverend & Mrs. LN, kids Miss or Mr. LN)
6= Baronet (titles: parents Lord & Lady LN, kids Miss or Mr. LN)
Next Roll to see how many children you have (genders are your choice):
1= two
2= three
3= four
4= three
5= two
6= four
