At least to my pronounciation rules. And the Irish pronounciation is not known for everyone.I'm not English either. In Swedish "kille" means "guy" and "killing" means kid (a goat's kid). But almost everyone knows English, so we make these homicidal associations.

That's true. In German it is usually spelled Kilian and pronounced KEE-li-an. So I'll better stick to that.
