I agree completely that nicknames don't need to match the name in spelling, and that a word name like
Cadence really ought to be spelled with the correct spelling of the word. I don't see a problem with
Cadence (spelled that way) with any of the nn's that you were considering.
However, I would avoid the spellings Kaidence and Kaide--I would pronounce Kaidence as KIED-ence (first syllable vowel like the word "eye"), not KAYD-ence. Also, I'd tend to pronounce
Kaede as KAY-dee rather than your pronunciation KAYD; I don't know if most people would think it was one or two syllables, but thought you might want to know.
