John and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our fourth child, and first son, John Nathan. John, named for his father, came into the world on June 16th, weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces; 20 1/2 inches long. He's definitely his Daddy's boy with brown hair and blue eyes, and has a wonderful, easy-going disposition. Big sisters, Ariella, Melissa, and Kaiya, are wonderful with the new baby and absolutely adore their little brother.
Ariella, who is four, is now in preschool and loving every minute of it. She already knows how to count to 30, knows her ABCs, and is starting to read. She has made a number of friends, but is still the relatively quiet, Mommy's girl that she's always been. She loves to play with her dolls and stuffed animals.
Melissa is two and very active. She's talking up a storm and loves to run around. She is far more outgoing than Ariella, and is just as friendly as her big sister. She can be a little drama queen at times, but is a very sweet little girl.
Kaiya is growing up so quickly...it doesn't at all seem like she's already a year old. She is talking, some, and walking. Like Melissa, she's pretty active, and loves to be chased around. She's a very playful little girl and loves to tag along after her big sisters.
