Reading Shay's "L" post from yesterday and all its replies got me thinking about my own name--and how many people seem to like it. I myself never had an issue with it (well, except for the fact that my parents don't pronounce it the American way, they pronounce it the Russian way but hey, that's another story.)

So, I think I might consider naming my daughter after me. No, this is not another "should I?" post. I'm just curious as to what I would call her. I know there's a number of you who think nicknames shouldn't be planned but calling both the Larissas in the house Larissa will create confusion.

Which nicknames do you think work well? I was considering Lara but any other suggestions would be appreciated. (Note: I can't use Lissa)
