[Facts] Nope, have a look at the pronunciation key . . .
Mike C and Miranda live in the same part of Canada, so their pronunciations are identical, and Mike's 'a' is the 'a' in 'bat'. The 'a' in 'father' is represented by 'ah'.I also believe Mike's pronunciation guide for Sian is wrong - I've only ever heard SHAHN or SHAWN (and the last I've only heard once, on a girl who was named Sian long before it became trendy).
