I am working on an article about Greek names and I'm looking for names that appear weird to us, because they just didn't survive in other countries than Greece (or maybe not even there). I found:

Laystrogynen, Klytaimestra, Hypsipyle, Asklaphos, Apsyrtos, Terpsichore, Thaltybios, Elephantine

Following my pattern I would like to have pairs of a feminine and a masculine name starting with the same letter.

Maybe Pavlos can help.

Here are some my favorite "weird-o" classical names that didnt quite make it in our age:

*Hermaphroditos* -- "chicks with d*cks"
*Satyros* -- My name is Viagra ... Mr Viagra
*Euthanasia* -- many a parent has 'n' and poopin'.

This is probably a form of Clytemnestra.

In addition to the family members listed by BtN, Clytemnestra was also the sister of Helen of Troy, Castor, and Polydeukes (Pollux in Roman).
