since your other daughter is Simone Sylvie would be a more logical name since it is also not as popular...I knew a girl named Susanna and she never used a shortened version of the name and she was in her teens...what would the middle name be? That could also influence the name that I would choose depending on the way they flowed together

Thanks for the suggestions so far! I appreciate all feedback. To answer the middle name question, the choices are
Susanna Josephine
Sylvie Josephine OR Sylvie Magdalene
Josephine and Madgalene are both family names. We like the flow of Susanna Josephine over Susanna Magdalene but with Sylvie, either would work, and if we went with Sylvie, we'd probably decide the middle name at the last minute too. ;-)
