I really like this name. It's unique and sounds elegant. I also like the classical feel that it has.
That is one intimidating picture. It's fine for an Egyptian, I guess.
This name is absolutely hideous, and the beginning makes me think of the word "thot".
You should add to the usage that this is actually Hellenized, because the original Ancient Egyptian form of Thutmose was more like Djehutimose (also take into account variant spellings Djhutymose and Djhwtymose). [noted -ed]
I've always pronounced this (and have heard others do the same) as: thuht-MOSE-es.
