One of the protagonists from soviet-crime drama, "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed" bears the name Gleb Zheglov. I personally can't take this name seriously at all because it is too similar to the Russian word for bread. Also doesn't help that a name meaning "god's legacy" is attached to a man who is 165cm tall, broke, previously lived in a hostel and has homosexual tendencies.

General Gleb Vaganov is the main antagonist in the Broadway musical 'Anastasia'.
The Russian name Gleb has the meaning "heir of God", and is connected to Ancient Nordic "Gudleifr" (I don't have "eth", sorry, thus the misspelling) but there is a more modern name, KLEIV, which actually also should be referred to below Gleb. It is rarely used, but there still are some that are called by this name - among them a central political leader in Norway, Kleiv Fiskvik. Phonetic disturbances like K->G and B->V taken into consideration, it is quite likely that these names belong together.

A good nickname, but for a real and true name, no comment.
