Everard O'Brien (1907 – 1971) was an Australian politician. He was a Labor Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 1952 to 1959, representing the seat of Murchison.

Everard Charles Cotes (1862 — 1944) was an English-born entomologist who worked at the Indian Museum in Calcutta. He later became a journalist after marrying the famous Canadian journalist, novelist and playwright Sara Jeannette Duncan. He published a number of scientific books and papers on entomology as well as two more journalistic books resulting from his travels.

Everard Calthrop (1857 – 1927) was a British railway engineer and inventor. Calthrop was a notable promoter and builder of narrow-gauge railways, especially of 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge, and was especially prominent in India. His most notable achievement was the Barsi Light Railway, but he is best known in his home country for the Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway. Calthrop has been described as a "railway genius". Later in life he took an interest in aviation, patenting some early designs for parachutes.

This is the name of a character in Walter Scott's novel "Waverley".

Everard is a minor character in the Harry Potter series. He is a former headmaster of Hogwarts who appears as a talking portrait in the headmaster's office.

Everard of Calne was the Bishop of Norwich in the years 1121–1145 AD.
