I prefer this name to Evangeline only because I find it frustrating how the ‘line’ ending can be pronounced three different ways. The A at the end solves that problem :)
It's a pretty name. But it's a mouthful lol :D.

Wonderful name! My fav girls name! If I had a daughter, I would definitely name her Evangelina, with the nickname Eva.
This is currently my favorite girls name! So long, beautiful, elegant, refined girls name; who would dislike it? If you're worried that your child can't spell it, there are TONS of nicknames to choose from! (e.g. Eva, Evie, Eve, Angelina, etc.) I SOO wish that my name was Evangelina! I would consider naming my daughter this.
Actually, I changed my mind LOL very quickly! I actually prefer Evangeline, as it has less syllables and sounds less cutesy/girly. But, I still love both names, it's just that Evangeline is a little better.
Wait, I changed my mind again! I actually like both names equally the same haha! I'd maybe prefer Evangelina a teeny bit more because it sounds sweeter on a little toddler.
I love it! So beautiful! A LOT, LOT, LOT, better than Evangeline! Pretty, delicate, name!
A little long, but super, super beautiful!
Love this name! Also love Evangeline.
It's so so so so beautiful! I would totally consider this for my daughter some day! And I totally recommend this name to moms!
The provided English pronunciation is incorrect. While Evangeline is pronounced i-VAN-jə-leen (or ee-VAN-jə-leen), adding an -a at the end changes the rhythm. Keeping the emphasis on VAN here is just awkward. Evangelina's pronunciation in English would coincide more with the pronunciation of Angelina than Evangeline: i-van-jə-LEE-nə. [noted -ed]
Evangelina is a wonderful name! Highly recommend. (◕﹏◕✿)
Evangeline is such a gorgeous name, but this seems like a roller coaster to me. Also, I don’t like Angelina (but I love Angelica) and I’m not a fan of girl names that end with A in general. (I dislike how girls are always out in feminization)
The name Evangelina is also quite common in the Portuguese-speaking world (especially in Brazil). A known bearer was the pioneering Portuguese doctor Maria Evangelina da Silva Pinto (1887-1973):- https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_Evangelina_da_Silva_Pinto (in Portuguese)

This is what I want to name my first daughter, it's so delicate and pretty but strong at the same time.
It's a pretty name, but like Angelina, it sounds a bit cutesy and girly to me, whereas Evangeline has a mature sound to it.
I think this name is really beautiful. Along with its variant "Evangeline". If I ever have a daughter I probably would call her either one of these two names.
In Spanish, it's pronounced e-vahn-heh-LEE-nah. Isn't it pretty?
