I'm not sure if I like this name. Naming a person Bituin, in my opinion, is like naming someone Rainbow or Star; it feels very hippie. Despite this, I still think I like it.

Bituin is also used as a masculine name in Filipino and Tagalog. However, it's more common for females. So, I think that the "Gender" of this name should be changed from "Feminine" to "Feminine & Masculine".

I think this name is gorgeous, and in the Philippines it has a very "hippy" and "earthy" vibe. We used it for our daughter's middle name. I wish we had used it as her first name. Bitsy would be a cute nickname.
