Hi, on the BTN database says the name Mila is the short form of either Miloslava, Ludmila or Emilia. Does anyone know which of these is the name Mila is short for? Also, was mentioned that it coincides with the Serbian, Croatian and Bulgarian word Mila meaning "dear,pleasant" Also, on another website it had said the meaning of the name Mila was Industrious. I am desperately trying to find out everything I can about this name. The meaning, orgin and which name Mila is short for. I have been trying to research it myself but it's been leaving me confused.
