This article is strictly based on opinion. There are no facts or anything resembling some type of research. These names that the writer is referring to are old names from African or Arabic descent. Just as Aaliyah's name is. To assume that people began to name their girls "Aaliyah" after her death to show respect is one thing. But, to claim the bases of a culture of names based on one person in the 20th century, and post it online as if it were legit, is rediculous. This just shows how ignorant some people are.Please do some research next time. Maybe you will receive some credit for trying.
