Use of MARIA before "Christmas"
Pavlos asked a similar question a few days ago concerning his own name. The name MARIA must have been used before Mary had a baby, but I haven't been able to find pre-New Testament bearers of the name. Of course there had always been MIRIAM and, from a certain point, its Greek adoption MARIAM(NE), but I'm specifically looking for MARIAs B.C.E.
