From Egyptian 隃t-nfrt meaning "Isis is beautiful", derived from the name of the goddess Isis combined with nfrt "beautiful, good, perfect". This was the name of several ancient Egyptian noblewomen, including one of the Great Royal Wives of the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses II, mother of his successor Merneptah.
