Most of the Hispanic-Americans I have asked about this name say it's pronounced "SO-chee". I think that was originally a short pet form, but people found the "tl" ending so hard to pronounce. Women with this name were just called "SO-chee" so much that now many Mexican-Americans think of that as the correct pronunciation for the full form.
