In Norse culture, this was a name given to a great warrior, because Odin was always accompanied by two wolves and two ravens. A wolf and a raven together meant victory in battle.
Wolfram von Bielefeld is one of the most important characters in the light novel-series/anime/manga Kyou Kara Ma no Tsuku Jiyuugyou! / Kyou Kara Maou! (今日から㋮のつく自由業! / 今日から㋮王!), being the fiancée for the serie's main character king Yuuri Shibuya.

I love it! My brother's middle name is Wolfegang and in his honor my sister gave my nephew the middle name Wolfe. I guess my first son will have the middle name Wolfram, or in our family, Wolferam. :)

Don J. Wolfram has a syndrome named after him. I don't quite fully understand it, but wolframsyndrome.org list symptoms as including visual impairment, color blindness, diabetes, tone deafness and emotional agitation. The meaning is still great and Wolfram Syndrome is pretty rare, so it won't be the first thing that people think of.
