Though this name is marked as 'rare', I come across it pretty frequently in my research of Polish-American immigrant communities in the 1900s. [noted -ed] It was among a wave of "-sław/-sława" names that were popular in the states among immigrants and the children of immigrants, the most common I've seen being Władysław(a), Stanisław(a), and Bronisław(a). Often this name was Americanized into 'Lottie', probably because of the "łady" part of "Władysława".
