I actually kind of like this as a first name. I wouldn't give it to my son, but it's very unique without being childish.

Warner is also in use in The Netherlands and has been so for centuries. It is fairly rare, as the highest number of births registered for this name in the last 100 years was 17 in 1958. In recent years less than 10 Warners were born each year.It should be noted, though, that in The Netherlands the name is simply a variant form of the first name Werner (which is more popular and has at least twice as many bearers). It never came from any surname (as is the case with the name Warner in English-speaking countries), so perhaps there should be a separate entry for the Dutch usage of the name Warner. Also, the Dutch pronunciation of Warner is as follows: WAHR-nər.
Warner Brothers and Marilyn Manson come to mind, as Marilyn Manson's real name is Brian Warner. These associations suck. Besides, the name is very surname-y, and it doesn't sound very pleasant.
