Wade Cota was a finalist from season 17 of American Idol, born 8/26/1991 in Phoenix, Arizona. A handsome guy (if I do say so myself (; with a pure heart and an unique, raspy voice.
Wade Resselian was a male human member of an underground movement known as The Path that helped smuggle Jedi hunted by the Galactic Empire to safety. (Obi-Wan Kenobi – "Part IV") A subreddit is dedicated to him, r/RIPWade.

Reminds me of Wade West from the Michael Vey series by Richard Paul Evans.

The name was originally a family/last name and should only be used as such!
My name is Wade. I am a trans girl who is keeping my birth name. I know it's not unheard of as a girl's name, but it's overwhelmingly more of a man's name. Is anyone out there a woman with the name Wade or know anyone with it?
Wade is a really cool name. It is masculine, no nonsense and down to earth. This is a man's name. Not intended for a boy.

Wade was a character on the 2000s Disney cartoon 'Kim Possible.' He was a tech afficianado who hooked up Kim with all the intel, gadgets, and transportation she needed.
I love the name Wade, it is my son's name & I assure you, he is an absolutely awesome & wonderful man. Please do NOT insult the name (a wife beater & trailer trash) this is totally ridiculous!
My name is Wade. I am a pisces and an artist. I have been called Wayne many times. Wayne is a cheap name as compared and I was annoyed as a youth being referred to as such... AND yes I have allergies that muddled my saying of my name to sound like 'Wayne' If I was John Wayne then that is a different matter.. HOWEVER my name is Wade. I like my name because of all the current 20XX bullshite of name spelling, I am happy to have such a simple and purposeful handle of hearing in a crowded space. I can hear my name because no one else has it. I am Wade.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative comments about Wade. It's unusual and is clear and crisp when said. So much better than Wayne in my opinion.
Wade Domínguez (1966-1998) was an American actor, best known for his role as Emilio Ramírez in Dangerous Minds (he played alongside Michelle Pheiffer).
I like this name, I think it's so cute. A bit weird on a girl, but that's just me. Also (no offense to those with this name) it would be a cute name for a duck.
Wade Hampton III (1818-1902) was a Confederate cavalry leader during the American Civil War and afterwards a politician from South Carolina, representing it as governor and U.S. senator.
I don't like the name. It sounds like someone with a flu trying to pronounce Wayne, another rather annoying and old-fashioned name, even though Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips seems like a cool enough bearer. Names with a 'w' tend to become a bit annoying in some people's pronunciation, so Americans, beware. The name also makes me think of Roe vs. Wade. As for now, I don't know which was which, so I can't quite know whether to simply dislike the name or to hate it with a passion.
Wade 'Cry-Baby' Walker is the name of Johnny Depp's character in the film Cry-Baby, written and directed by John Waters. I happen to love this name, and Cry-Baby is one of the main reasons. =]

One of the boys in my school is named Wade, and he is the only one in about twenty miles with the name. I can say from experience with this boy that Wade is someone who is nice, but takes a lot of things personally. Me and him are pretty much after each others' heads.

I think it is a really cool name, it's very differant and you don't meet people with the name "Wade" often. I also think it is incredibly rude to diss someone's name. You can say you don't like it, but why would you want to say it's disgusting?
