One famous bearer is Vivek H. Murthy, the 19th US Surgeon General. I am fairly certain his middle name (Hallegere) would not be found here; and even I'm not sure how to pronounce it.
"Discrimination" here refers to spiritual discernment between what is real or important, and what is temporary and can be ignored. Or, between moral right and wrong. It doesn't mean "discrimination" in the sense of subjective judgment about worldly things.

Not sure "discrimination" as a name meaning would go over very well, in most of America at least. People seem to be really touchy on anything bordering the 'judging' issue.
In the computer game TES3: Morrowind, there is a god named Vivec. Just in case you cared.
