Meaning & History
Means "undoubted son" in Old Norse. Visbur was a legendary Swedish king, son of Vanlandi and father of Dómaldi. He appears in the epic works 'Heimskringla' and 'Ynglinga saga' written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. Visbur also appears in the 9th century poem 'Ynglingatal', possibly written by the Norwegian skald Þjóðólfr ór Hvini.
