Viorica it’s a beautiful, feminine name, rarely used in North America. Men tend to like it more then women. However, many people tend to mistaken it for Victoria or Veronica.
Viorica is the name of a past Romanian Prime minister, Viorica Dănicilă know for her comedic mistakes during her speeches and visits to various people. Because of her in Romania, the name “Viorica” is no longer a beautiful name and the people that bear this name are a target for teasing.

The idea behind this is classic and hence acceptable. However, I'd prefer it just be "Viorea" - maybe because I simply prefer vowels and dislike the "-ica" suffix - but to me "Viorea" sounds more musical than "Viorica".
A famous bearer was Viorica Ursuleac (March 26, 1894 - October 22, 1985), a Romanian operatic soprano. She was Richard Strauss' favorite soprano, singing the world premieres of four of his operas: "Arabella" in 1933, "Friedenstag" in 1938, "Capriccio" in 1942, and the public dress rehearsal of "Die Liebe der Danae" in 1944.
