I absolutely adore the name “Trees”. Especially for a girl! If I were to have a daughter, I would name her Trees! Trees has a calm, peaceful sound to it. The name Trees is rare, it would be nice to see more Trees in the world. If you aren’t too keen on the name Trees, it could work very well as a middle name! Trees can also have the nickname TT or T, which I think is adorable! The name Trees is also well-ageing. I could picture a baby named Trees, kid, teen and Adult. Some names that I love to go with Trees! Trees as a first name: Trees Lyn Trees Rose Trees as a middle name: Kelly Trees Miranda Trees Love the name!

Come on. It’s only bad in English-speaking countries, where this name is NOT used. Nobody’s naming their kid Trees in America. Go look at the name definition again. Just because it’s a name of a form of vegetation in English doesn’t mean it’s been “ruined” in all languages and cultures. In languages that aren’t English, I expect this to sound very lovely and cute, with no thought of Trees coming to mind. Please, don’t let your English-speaking mind think that this is an awful name for somebody who doesn’t know any English. It’s not an English name. This is coming from somebody named Teresa, whose nickname was “Tree-Tree” as a child.
Trees is a short form of Theresia, rather than a diminutive (if it were a diminutive, it would have the diminutive suffix -je). Also, this name is also used in Limburgish as a short form for Theresia. [noted -ed]
I don't think that this would be a good name for an American kid. I mean, look at it! It says trees, plural form of tree. That would be the kid that gets beaten up every day.

The plural form of 'tree'. Also a strange name in the US.
