The Torah ("Instruction", "Teaching" or "Law") is the compilation of the first five books of the Hebrew Bible, namely the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These are the sacred scriptures of Judaism, which form the basis for the sacred scriptures of all monotheistic religions. The name Torah as a girl’s name, symbolising the wish that the girl will go in the holy ways of the Bible and share her good deeds with others.
