It gives the impression of a nerd girl with glasses, but very rarely is it used as a name for a middle-aged or older man. In that case, the impression of the name changes to a masculine impression, like an Asian version of Josh Brolin. Lol.

So I'm half Japanese and my mom gave me the name Satomi but spelled like Tomomi. I wish you could add that to the Satomi name list. [noted -ed]
Tomomi Komori is a female field hockey player from Japan. She twice represented her native country at the Summer Olympics (2004 and 2008).Komori became top scorer at the 2006 Women's Hockey World Cup Qualifier in Rome, Italy, alongside Kaori Chiba (Japan), Rhona Simpson (Scotland) and Maryna Vynohradova (Ukraine), scoring six goals.
Aww what a cute name! I wouldn't name my kid this, but if I ever got a Japanese dog, I'd name it this and call her Momo for short. I hope whoever reads this won't be offended, but this is a really cute name and of course I love Japanese.
