My suggestion is that this name meaning is more likely to be understood as 'to tease' rather than 'to torment', since it appears to be used in a context of a relationships between two or more people, although not necessarily. In a Russian speaking group of people it would be a rare name, but it wouldn't have to struggle to fit (but I believe it's not this way just for us), it also has a romantic meaning. I love it! I never stop.
