I tend to pronounce it close to the Lion King character (tea-moan) but shorten the first syllable’s vowel to ti (as in tick) and put the stress on the second syllable MOAN. Tih-MOANI like this name, but couldn’t use it as a first name since people would start singing Lion King songs to him when he introduces himself.
It's a nice name, and I like the meaning. I feel like people won't be able to get past the Lion King association, but I still like the name regardless.
