Tigst Assefa Tessema (Amharic: ትእግስት አሰፋ; Oromo: Tigist Asaffaa Tasammaa; b. 1996) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner and the former world record holder in the women's marathon at 2:11:57 until her record was broken on 13-October-2024 by Ruth Chepng'etich.
