This is not a Swedish variant, although used in Sweden. Teresia is the Latin form, whereas Terese is the French and Teresa the Spanish.

This is not at all as common in Sweden as Therese. Teresia is the older version, more common in Sweden early 1900. Theresia is the more common spelling today, and that is how it was spelled when it was first used in Sweden in 1737. [noted -ed]
