I find the given pronunciation to be very anglicised, and not at all how you pronounce it in Arabic (and Urdu). The vowel sounds are short, and not elongated like in “bAt, cAn” and “bOOt, sOOn”, as this website claims. If the latter were the case, I believe it would be written as تاباسوم with the extra Arabic vowels.A more accurate way to pronounce this would be tu-BUS-soom“tu”as in like a bathTUb “BUS”, as in the vehicle, rhyming with “us” And then “soom”, with the short oo sound in words such as cOOk, bOOk etc.I think it’s quite pretty if pronounced correctly :)
