Another fictional bearer of this name is Spirit Albarn from the anime Soul Eater. Yes it's goofy, particuarly given that Spirit is a guy, but given that the anime in question is absolutely full of Engrish names (personally I blame the writer's sense of humour), it sort of works in context.

There is a children's movie called Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, in which the stallion Spirit is the main character.
