Shena Mackay, FRSL, is a Scottish novelist. She was shortlisted for the Booker Prize for Fiction in 1996 for The Orchard on Fire, and was shortlisted for the Whitbread Prize and the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2003 for Heligoland.
Shena Fraser (1910 – 1993) was a Scottish pianist and composer who also used the pseudonym Sebastian Scott. She studied piano performance with Henry Wilson, and composition with Herbert Howells at the Royal College of Music in London. Her debut piano recital was held at the Grotrian Hall, London, in 1934.
