I would have pronounced this as "shaw-VOHN" not Siobhan. I agree with anonymous user: to spell it like this is just plain ignorant, uncultured, and tacky.

Sorry but I do not like the sound of this name. It just does not sound pretty. I don't know why. :( But its unique.

I know it's an Irish name, but Siobhan sounds quite ghetto to me. But to spell it like this is just plain ignorant, uncultured, and tacky. Yes, Siobhan may be hard for Americans to pronounce, but if you're really debating it that much just don't use it. The sound isn't that great anyway.
