I would have pronounced this as "shaw-VOHN" not Siobhan. I agree with anonymous user: to spell it like this is just plain ignorant, uncultured, and tacky.

I know it's an Irish name, but Siobhan sounds quite ghetto to me. But to spell it like this is just plain ignorant, uncultured, and tacky. Yes, Siobhan may be hard for Americans to pronounce, but if you're really debating it that much just don't use it. The sound isn't that great anyway.
