Sans

The only name that should be allowed. Sans is love, Sans is life.

Well, I'm about to say this, and I think it's true for most names: associations don't last forever unless that association has had a HUGE impact on the world. With so much hate for Undertale going around just because of its fanbase, sooner or later all of the hate will die down and nobody's going to talk about it anymore. Only then will it be perfectly safe to name your child this, even if you didn't name him after Sans the Skeleton.

I find this name to be cool, and I like it even more because of the skeleton himself. I'm actually low-key considering this. And yes, I do know that "Sans" means "without" in French... but not everyone lives in France, now do they?

I take it back, I'm no longer considering this name. I would never name my child after a meme.

Although most associations really don't last forever, I don't think it's really "smart" to not use a name just because it is a meme. Memes have always been a thing. Always. They don't apply to just the Internet, you know. But even then, not all Internet meme names are bad.

A son named after Sans the Skeleton... that would be very interesting! However, he probably would get a lot of hate because of Undertale's... not so good for a fanbase.

"Sans" is a word meaning "without". This sounds dumb as a name.
