Samuel "Sammy" Lee (1920 – 2016) was an American physician and diver. He was the first Asian American man to win an Olympic gold medal for the United States (the second Asian American to win a gold medal overall) and the first man to win back-to-back gold medals in Olympic platform diving.
Samuel Roy "Sammy" Hagar (born 13 October 1947) is an American hard rock musician, known for his work with the band Van Halen from 1985 to 1996 and his solo career, which included the enduring hit "I Can't Drive 55" (1984). Hagar also founded the nightclub chain Cabo Wabo in 1990.
