I think ‘Sam’ would be a good nickname for this name. I don’t particularly care for the names Samuel or Samson despite liking Sam, so this name could perhaps be used in a similar way. I like it because it sounds kind of old-school yet edgy - probably because it brings up thoughts of the Salem Witch Trials. Despite that, you could argue it has a certain respectability to it because it’s related to the name Solomon.
