Silly Saburo is a Japanese folk tale. Its general premise is about a boy who is instructed to do several tasks by his parents, but due to his own stupidity, he always fails miserably at all of them.

Saburō Kitajima is a well-known Japanese enka singer, lyricist and composer.
Saburo Fujiki is a Japanese professional golfer. Fujiki was born in Mie. He won 14 tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour. In his only major appearance, he finished 59th at the 1984 Open Championship.
Saburo Sasaki was the father of Sadako Sasaki, who was a famous hibakusha (atomic bomb survivor, literally "braised person"). See under 'Sadako.' Note: Japanese name order is the reverse of what it would be in the West.
