I don’t know why, but I expected this to be a Spanish variation—regardless, I think it’s really pretty and unique! It’s not too odd at all, it feels similar enough to Isabella, Sabrina, and Sable that it’s definitely familiar, but interesting and new. I think it’s cool :D.
Sabella is the name of a character from the French fairy tale "Heart of Ice". She is a princess whose heart was stolen by the fairy Gorgonzola and placed on top of a mountain.
All you're doing is taking the I out of the extremely trite and annoying name Isabella. At least Isabella sounds like a real name though, this sounds way too modern/made up, like a spinoff of Isabella.

This name is beautiful--I like it much more than Isabella. I first heard the name at church doing geology, and since then it has become my user name, and the name of the main character in one of the books I write. It will be one of my future daughters' names, along with Eve and Aveline.
I really like Sabella. It's very pretty, and not nearly as common as Isabella or Isobel. The only problems I have with it are that it's a bit too modern, and I can't easily picture an adult named Sabella. Oh well, I still think it's great.
I like the name Sabella, it's one of my middle names. And it's short for Isabella. It is also an Italian surname. A park in New Jersey is named Sabella. Sabella is a pretty name. It has bella in it which means beautiful.
I'm surprised this name isn't more popular, with Isabella at #2 in popularity. (for 2008) Maybe people will discover this beautiful name, and use it instead of Isabella.

This is such a pretty name! I prefer it to the more common Isabella.
I had a dream about this name! But, I think it was more about the name Sable with the ending Ella! I personally love this name a lot more than Isabella.
