Sabah has a lot of beautiful meanings in Arabic, Persian, Ancient Egyptian and Hebrew, and I'm also living in the state of Sabah in Malaysia! For this reason, I feel grateful to live in Sabah since the day I was born! If I want to enjoy the beautiful meaning of Sabah, I'll get out of Pitas District and move to Kota Kinabalu District, the state capital, next year!
It means "Queen Sheba" or "Queen of Sheba" from the holy books of Muslims, Jews, and Christians. In English, it can be written as Saba, Saboh or Sabah. I like Saba. It can be spelled in two different ways in the Persian Language. The one with Persian roots (writen with Sad), means eastern breeze. The one with Arabic roots (writen with Sin), means Queen Sheba.
