Ryota Igarashi is a Japanese professional baseball pitcher who plays for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks in Nippon Professional Baseball's Pacific League. Igarashi began his career with the Yakult Swallows of NPB in 1999. For Yakult, he was a five-time All-Star. After the 2009 season, Igarashi signed with the New York Mets of MLB as a free agent and pitched for them in 2010 and 2011. He briefly pitched for the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees of MLB in 2012.
Ryota Arai is a Japanese professional baseball infielder for the Hanshin Tigers in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. Ryota is a 6'2 infielder, playing either 1st or 3rd baseman, but also previously played as an outfielder. His elder brother Takahiro is also a professional baseball player currently playing for Hiroshima Toyo Carp. Ryota is of Korean-Japanese descent, but was naturalized along with his brother in June 2004. It is often told that his playing form and physique closely resembles that of his brother. According to an article in Chunichi News, when Ryota first appeared as a pinch hitter in a game vs Hanshin in July 25, 2006, at the time he was struck out, then left fielder Tomoaki Kanemoto said "You look too much like your brother!". Up to this day, both brothers still hold deep respect for Kanemoto. He is also a calligraphy specialist.

Ryota started playing baseball even before he entered grade school. In junior high, he was also a member of the school's soccer club and even played in the Saitama Prefecture soccer tournament. He entered Urawa Gakuin, a high-school in Saitama known for its baseball team. In his second year, he was elected as team captain, and as a catcher led his team to participate in the Summer Koshien Tournament and the Spring Invitational Tournament.
Ryota Nagaki is a Japanese football player who plays for Kashima Antlers in J1 League. After some years spent with Shonan Bellmare, he joined Kashima Antlers for 2016 season. On 29th September 2016, he was called up for Japan for the first time in his career.
