Rufina

Lmao, my German Shepherd's name is Rufus, and he's 6 months old. He's so adorable. Anyway, Rufina is an awful name...please use something else.

This name makes me shudder. It's a terrible name. It sounds too harsh despite the "ina" ending. It's too close to Rufus. I always think of an old, dirty hound. The name sounds backwoodsy. It depresses me.

I think this is a great name, it would be great for a red-haired little girl's name, as Rufina means "red" or "red-haired" ("red-haired beauty"). I can see this name being used in the English language in the future, due to its meaning. :)
