I love this name, but unfortunately children often have trouble with spelling this name. It's very cute, though. I really love it. The bad thing about it is (like I said) children often have trouble with spelling this name.
What's not to love about a little girl/old lady named Rosie? It's only the 30 year old woman Rosie I'm not too sure about. Rose is super pretty as well.
I really like it, it's cute and old fashioned, I think it ages well and I like it best as a legal name, it is not immature, it's not boring, it's a name for a strong beautiful loving and caring girl.
The most beautiful and gorgeous name I have ever known. It’s feminine, pretty and is based on the most gorgeous and romantic flower - the rose! Our lovely dog is called Rosie. I also know a famous model called Rosie, who is Joe Wicks ‘the Body Coach’s’ wife. I know of only one person called Rosie and she has a lovely bubbly personality and is so caring and kind.
I think Rosie is a really nice name. It sounds really gentle and feminine, yet strong at the same time. I, personally, think it ages pretty well. I think it would suit a girly-girl beautifully, and I honestly think it would be really cute and sweet for a tomboy, as well ;) Overall, I think Rosie is a gorgeous name.
Only as a nickname, Rosie does not sound like a name that an old lady could have...would look silly on a grave.

I wanted to call my younger daughter Rosanna, Rosie for short, but her father doesn't believe in shortening a name and I didn't want to listen to 'her name's Rosanna, not Rosie' for the rest of my life, so we settled on Rosie as her name. However, she thought Rosie was too childish and legally changed it to Rosana as soon as she was 16.
This is my name, and I really like it! Although a lot of people say it's just a nickname, I think it is just as good as a first name too. Reminds me of the name Rose, but I think Rosie sounds nicer and is not as overused.
I have an aunt who goes by this as a nickname. I think Rosie sounds a little too cutesy. ^^; I MUCH prefer Rose. (:

Update: I now love Rosie and Rose equally now. I don't know what I was thinking back then... Rosie IS a cute name but I happen to LOVE cute style names like Lily, Kitty, Dottie etc. So I don't mind this name being cute anymore! :)

The name Rosie is ok, but sounds a bit 'replaced', I think.

Reminds me of very blonde, into-fashion types of girls and women. Sometimes I still prefer Rose, though.
I hate this name! Why not just Rose? At least Rose has elegance and class! I don't think I'd be able to grow up with the name Rosie. Sorry to anyone with this name.
Rosie is such a sweet little name for a beautiful little girl. I was deliberating between Poppy and Rosie. I have decided on sweet little Rosie.

I'm sorry, but I hate the name Rosie! It sounds so stiff and grating, and reminds me of a bratty two-year-old. I much prefer Rose, or any other "Rose" name for that matter.

Rosie is a sweet and pleasant name. The 'zee' gives it a warm and friendly sound, like Daisy.

My name is Rosanna but I go by Rosie, I have done all my life. I like my name but I don't like how people are always telling me that they have pets named Rosie! :D It's damn annoying! Also being associated with that annoying American TV host is irritating.
