I love it. I also like Alba and Rose, but white rose is a pretty meaning and this name sounds like the name of a gorgeous, intelligent person.

Rosalba Neri, sometimes credited as Sara Bey or Sara Bay, is a retired Italian actress, and the mother of working actress Francesca Neri. Born in Forlì, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, Neri was regarded for her beauty even in youth, winning a beauty pageant when she was still young. Eventually pursuing an acting career, she attended il Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. She also received an offer to attend the Actors Studio in the United States, but did not accept.
Rosalba is a beautiful, unique name. I wish it was used more.

The meaning is lovely, but that's it. The way it is pronounced is gross, especially the syllable All. The way it is written takes everyone to a whole new level of gross, I would spell it Rosalbe.
My name is Rosalba Kathleen! It means 'White rose' and Kathleen means 'pure' so Rosalba means 'Pure white rose'. I love my unique name. My mother's name is Anna Doris. She gave me this name to make up for how common hers is. A completely gorgeous name.
I suppose it depends on how you define "recent", but since this name was borne by the painter Rosalba Carriera (1675 - 1757), I'd say it's a long established name. [noted -ed]
